A small group of biologists interested in these wonderful animals -- the so-called stalked jellyfish -- use this tool for what is becoming known as "Cybertaxonomy". Participants edit and maintain a current classification for the small cnidarian class Staurozoa, upload images, maintain bibliographic resources, discuss taxonomic issues, and other collaborative activities.
